hoi hoi... that sounds like someone from "Tennis Oji-Sama" (prince of Tennis!!). Heh heh... Anyway, no pictures this time. Just introducing DeviantArt. Somehow, I found this website while searching for art-related stuff online, and i got hooked. Been thinking of joining the group of artists there, but was a little intimdated by how great their pieces are. Moreover, 'A' Levels was challenging enough to keep me away from it (Though I did spend a lot of time browsing the galleries :P).
5 February 2007 marks the day that I became a deviant myself! :D The first submission got one comment, enough to make my day. However, the next few submissions weren't that satisfying. All of them have at least 5 views each (as of now, and I hope it'll increase!!) but without comments. Kinda sad... but I still submit my works. Then, one incident made me realise that timing matters A LOT. Yeah... A LOT!!
I had no works to submit at that time, though I completed a drawing, because the scanner wasn't available. I wanted to submit something so badly, so I submitted 2 of my drawings of life people at around 4 am. (erm.. my biological clock's kinda off now) And I'm not being humble here, I didn't submit them previously because I thought they're too lousy. But guess what, I actually received about 100 views(combined) and several comments! SHOCKED!! Well, timing does matter... SEE! The numbers are still increasing, with the Maggie Q piece having 71 views and the shadowy face one with 46 views. SO HAPPY!! Haha... it's nothing compared to those famous names in DeviantArt who receive thousands of views each time, but it's still an improvement!
At least I'm recognised internationally, even if it's just a small group of people. Haha...
